For the Chimichangas

  • 6 pieces Flour Tortillas Burrito-sized for ample filling
  • 8 oz Whipped Cream Cheese Regular cream cheese works too
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract Can substitute with vanilla-flavored yogurt
  • 1 cup Strawberries Fresh, sliced; or thawed frozen
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Plain yogurt is an alternative
  • 1 cup Cinnamon Sugar Mix one part cinnamon with three parts sugar
  • ½ cup Butter Melted; can substitute with olive oil

For Serving

  • Chocolate Syrup For drizzling
  • Vanilla Ice Cream Pairs perfectly with chimichangas

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and spray the basket with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the whipped cream cheese, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt until smooth. Gently fold in the sliced strawberries.
  • Spoon the strawberry mixture into the center of each tortilla, dividing evenly.
  • Roll each tortilla tightly, securing ends with toothpicks to prevent spilling.
  • Brush each chimichanga with melted butter and place seam-side down in the air fryer without crowding.
  • Cook in the air fryer for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove toothpicks, then roll in cinnamon sugar before serving.
