Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs can be store-bought or homemade
  • 3 tablespoon diced onion diced small
  • 2 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon shredded cheese plus more for topping
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 12-cup muffin pan with nonstick spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs, mustard, garlic powder, diced onion, and cheese.
  • Press biscuit dough into bottom of muffin cups.
  • Top each biscuit with beef mixture and press down gently.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until biscuit edges are golden.
  • Cool for 5-10 minutes before removing from pan. Serve warm.

Notes

Use lean ground beef to avoid excess grease. Dice the onion small so it cooks through. Bake until the edges are golden brown. Cool slightly before removing to help them hold their shape.
