- 4 cups cubed white bread
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- ¼ cup raisins
- ¼ cup butter (softened)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine cubed white bread and raisins.
In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until melted. Pour over the bread cubes and soak for about 10 minutes.
