Equipment

  • wok or large skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium zucchinis
  • ½ small onion thinly sliced
  • 5 cloves garlic chopped
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 2 heaping tbsp Saewoojeot Korean salted & fermented shrimp (can substitute with fish sauce or soy sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ tablespoon gochugaru optional
  • 2 teaspoon cooking oil
  • sesame seeds for garnish
  • sesame oil for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cut zucchinis in half lengthwise and slice into a half-moon shape.
  • Place all ingredients in a wok or large skillet except sesame seeds and sesame oil.
  • Over high heat, stir fry ingredients for 5 minutes, or until zucchini is cooked but still has bite.
  • Place on a serving plate, and garnish with sesame seeds and sesame oil. Enjoy with warm cooked rice.

Notes

Best served warm alongside rice or as part of a bibimbap.
