Plantains and Ingredients

  • 3 pieces ripe plantains
  • 55 g butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 12 cl water
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ginger
  • 100 g brown sugar

Instructions
 

Cooking Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a hot pan. Add the plantains and brown them over medium heat. Add the salt, cinnamon, water, sugar, and ginger. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the cover and reduce heat for a few more minutes.

Notes

Best served warm as a dessert or sweet side dish.
