  • 3 lbs Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 packet Dry ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ cup Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion powder

Preparation steps

  • Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Pour barbecue sauce over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle dry ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder evenly on top.
  • Pour chicken broth into the crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  • When done, shred the chicken with two forks and mix with the sauce.

Notes

Serve warm on buns for sandwiches or over salads. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
