Ingredients
  

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry 17.3 oz, thawed
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 3-inch squares.
  • Place squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with melted butter. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
  • In a bowl, toss sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and vanilla; let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Beat heavy cream and confectioners' sugar in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  • Cut cooled pastries in half horizontally. Layer macerated strawberries and whipped cream between each pastry half.
  • Serve immediately.
